Overview
RouteReady is a driving test route practice app. The app is designed to help learner drivers practise real routes with turn-by-turn guidance, rerouting, and route-end feedback. We aim to keep data collection limited and proportionate to what is needed to run the app.
RouteReady is intended as a practice tool, not a replacement for safe driving judgement, professional instruction, or official test guidance.
Information we collect
Depending on how the app is configured at launch and how you use it, RouteReady may process the following categories of information:
- ✓Location data: your device location while using route guidance or route preview features, in order to show your position, guide you through routes, and support rerouting.
- ✓Route activity data: route progress, route completion, and in-app driving feedback such as speeding, braking, acceleration, or cornering events generated during practice.
- ✓Device and app data: basic technical information such as app version, device model, operating system version, crash information, and diagnostics where needed to keep the app working properly.
- ✓Subscription status: confirmation from Google Play that you have an active subscription or entitlement to use premium features.
RouteReady does not require you to create an account unless this changes in a future version. If that changes, this policy will be updated.

Subscriptions and payments
Subscriptions are billed and managed through Google Play. RouteReady does not store your full payment card details. We may receive limited subscription-related information from Google Play, such as whether your subscription is active, expired, cancelled, or restored, so premium access can be managed correctly.
Data retention
We keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including maintaining the app, resolving disputes, enforcing legal rights, complying with legal obligations, and improving reliability.
Some information may be stored locally on your device as part of normal app operation, such as route state, settings, or cached content.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of certain personal data. You may also be able to object to certain processing or request data portability.
You can also control certain permissions directly from your device settings, including location permissions. If you disable permissions that are necessary for navigation features, parts of the app may not work as intended.
Children
RouteReady is not directed at young children. If you believe personal data has been provided by a child in a way that should not have happened, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to help protect information. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we aim to minimise data collection and protect the data that is processed.
